I was asked to fly in to Atlanta to film video of our miners being on and to do so me educational pieces for our community.  When we got there Greg and picked us up from the airport along with his business partner Mason Song. They took us to the facility and we were able to meet some of the team.   We quickly learned that the Miners that were supposed to be installed and running, still had not even been inventoried appropriately by the Atlanta Team.

 Greg told me that he had received about 2600 of our machines, but none of them had been checked in or tagged.  Additionally the containers that were supposed to be prepared and ready with our miners installed, didn’t even have the power or networking installed in the units.    

They were filled with old incompatible wires and equipment that they still had yet to remove.  I was told multiple times by Greg and Mason Song that they would have 5 guys to help us while we were there to install rigs and get things taken care of.  That never happened. It seemed like they were horribly understaffed.  Greg and Mason were running around doing other things the whole time and meeting with other clients.  What was supposed to be a one day visit, ended up extending out to 4 full days.    

They weren’t getting things done so we offered to hire temp workers to assist in doing the job that they should have already done.   We hired 3 workers the first day and then another, 6 the second day. We inventoried the miners based on their inventory system, and began the installation process on the last day that we were there because they had finally run power to one of the units. 

I was taken on a tour of the facility and noticed that many units were on and running, but was told that they weren’t ours.   They showed me the Power supplies that had been installed on the property as well as many other machines that were for diverting power to different places. When asked if power was hooked up to our containers the answer was no, but that they would be working on it.    

I was shown 8 Containers and told that those where the containers that our machines would be going in. A couple of the containers had been damaged in transit.  Also they were stacked in two rows, each row two containers high and two containers deep.  While there they mentioned that they wanted the doors of the containers on the other side from where they had been installed.  They started removing and adjusting two of the containers, while I was there.  They also did not have stairs for the containers on the top level, so there was no access to them.   

Overall i was not impressed by their lack of service, and lack of attention to our situation.  The whole time we were doing the job that they had said and contracted to do.  I know that I felt i had to stay longer to get done what we were able to get done and had we not been there, I am sure that it wouldn’t have moved forward.  There was just no urgency shown from them.  

What's worse is now we were able to confirm that our mining servers were running and producing. All rewards have been withheld.  We asked for access to remove our machines from their facility and they refused to give us access.  They have stolen our property now as well as the rewards that our mining servers have produced.    

They only turned on a part of our inventory and have now kept all the rewards, and I have recieved nothing now from all my efforts.

Bradley Balletto deliberately deceived me with an investor. I worked for the investor for 3 years and did not get paid and Bradley worked with the investor again to sell the property and made his commission twice. He knew the whole time that I did not get paid. It is my opinion and based on my experience he works with investors to deceive people, stay away from him, he is a terrible crook.

I can also add, I know of a few properties he brokered knowingly and willingly that the investor will not be able to make it. He prays on out of towners that don't really know the neighborhoods and tricks them into terrible deals. He also was there with the investor when he promised my workers if they will continue working with him until they sell the properties they will receive a bonus, that also did not happen. He drives a beautiful car makes a great impression but stay away for your own benefit

After a month of the flooring being laid, I started complaining to the Flooring manager at Lowes in Knightdale, NC about the scratching on the floors. He is also the person that calculated my materials list and placed my order. A few months later I started having separations between the planks , so I complained to the same person.

At no time was installation a factor. After Cali Bamboo sent in a flooring inspector and asked what my biggest issue was and I said it was the scratching, they came back with that since I hadn't put in a T moulding, that I had installed it wrong and voided the warrenty. Even though the separation was somthing that can be fixed and the scratching they said needed to be refinished, which bamboo can not be refinished.

They took a cop out way to not correct the problem. Lowes sided with them, even though the store assistant manager, the flooring manager told me what materials were needed and he said nothing of a T moulding in that location. Cali Bamboo makes a faulty product that in no way lives up to the product advertising. 

My sons' former school, Great Basin Virtual Academy shut down abruptly after the 2018/2019 school year.

Their email system and offices were shut down as well. So I spend the entire summer trying to acquire the necessary documents, school records, last report card, IEP (special education) and so forth. nothing out of the usual normally. So my sons' enrollment process went through the first month of school. Schools here starts in early/mid-August. In the meantime, my sons school was cranking through assignments and assessments during this whole time.

So as the schools computer system works, all old or past assessments are "dropped" by the teacher and can no longer be started nor completed at all. You miss it? too bad. So my son comes in at starts school at about, assessment 12. But he can't do assessment 12 because he has to do those prior assessments as I mentioned before, you missed it, you lose it. So all 12 assessments can't be done because the system was created to lock students out. This includes my son after-the-fact.

So my son can only do SOME assignments that don't have assessments or those classes that don't lock him out.

The school, I believe frauded not only myself, my son but the taxpayers. The school knows students who enroll late, can't make up the work. then my wife researched the school more and found they only get 2 out of 5 stars. I agree!

General contractor fees and charges will only be included in the estimated reasonable replacement costs if it is reasonably likely that the services of a general contractor will be required to manage, supervise and coordinate the repairs. However, actual cash value settlements will not include estimated general contractor fees or charges for general contractor’s services unless and until you actually incur and pay such fees and charges, unless the law of your state requires that such fees and charges be paid with the actual cash value settlement.

I see two major issues with this clause. First, and perhaps most obvious, is the language that makes the decision to pay overhead and profit subjective. While the traditional view is that overhead and profit will be paid if three or more trades are involved in the repair, this policy states that overhead and profit will only be paid “if it is reasonably likely that the services of a general contractor will be required to manage, supervise and coordinate the repairs” (emphasis added). The insurance carrier will be the one to determine if a general contractor is necessary regardless of the number of trades or complexity of the work to be performed. I can only imagine the fights this will cause.

The second major problem with this clause: overhead and profit is only paid once incurred by the insured. Making overhead and profit an incurred coverage item can put a huge burden on an insured that may not have the means to front the expense. Imagine a homeowner has a fire that destroys their home. The replacement cost of the home is $200,000 and after overhead and profit is added the total rebuild cost is then $240,000. However, the home is older and the insurance carrier depreciates the home by $50,000 making an actual cash value payment of $150,000. In that instance, Farmers would write a check for $150,000 for a $240,000 loss. The insured can’t make a claim for the recoverable depreciation or overhead and profit until those costs are incurred. The insured would have to front $90,000 to secure full indemnification under the policy.

Finally, it should be noted that the policy form this clause was taken from is the one used by Farmers in Pennsylvania. I wonder why this provision is even in the policy as it states that overhead and profit will only be paid when incurred, “unless the law of your state requires that such fees and charges be paid with the actual cash value settlement.” As my learned colleague, Larry Bache, wrote in October, 2012, Pennsylvania law requires overhead and profit to be paid as part of the actual cash value payment. However, after conversations with some folks working claims in Pennsylvania, that does not seem to be how the claims are being administered.

If you have been following this series, you may be noticing a trend, the policy seems to have a lot more words and a lot less coverage. Reading it, I feel like I am entering the Twilight Zone.

Warning-Rental owner Molly Beane – Hapuna Beach Big Island Hawaii treated our family extremely poorly. 2018 Kona volcanic eruption-due to natural disaster and family medical health issues, we formally requested in writing a refund but were denied. As well as subsequent attempt to coordinate and alternative stay period. Owner Beane initially agreed to be accommodating due to medical health issues but unilaterally withdrew documented commitment.

As a family, we feel we have been defrauded by this rental/VRBO, who took advantage of documented natural disaster. Worse part, we never stayed one day and this rental took entire rental fee as well as 100% refundable security deposit (approximately $5K)

VRBO initially informed they would assist as we were justified with natural disaster,  but all they did was provide run around with no resolution…

I worked well and competently. I was informed by this boss I could go by his house any time after 5pm yesterday, 9/9/2019. He informed me he had an accident cutting open his arm. He indeed did as I saw pictures… It was a nasty accident.

However, I waited a while before he came and when he did, although he told me to be there, proof in the texts, and he threatened to beat me and even shoot me if I didn't get off his property. He said he would not pay me and he said he would not give me back my tools.

My tools will be near $400 to replace and I'm already about to be homeless out of all the corrupt contractors who don't like paying, so it's nearly impossible to get my life back on track with all these people refusing to pay me what I worked hard for.
