Pods Moving and Storage Damaged my vehicle and refused to pay for it and defrauded us. Clearwaters Florida

A nightmare from the beginning.  First they came and would not place the pod on the 12/50 RV pad we had that would easily accomodate it.  They dropped in the driveway almost blocking the road. Lazy. They charged us almost the entire fee on the same day although they advertise they split the payments up. This was important for us as we were closing on a house in another state and our lender warned us not to go over $1500 a day in transactions.  We disclosed this to the agent, they did not care apparently.  They ran the charge as a debit instead of a credit in opposition of what we asked for.  Fraud! No attempt after several calls to the customer service center to rectify the situation.

When the pod did arrive to the destination the driver there argued again with us about placing it further back on the gravel driveway citing power lines far above at least 16 feet above.  They argued they had not enough clearance.  They state on their site they need 12 feet width clearance which it was 12 feet.

Now the icing on the cake, the driver who comes last to pick up the pod on the final day is honest but his manager is not. The driver runs podzilla into the front bumper of my truck in broad daylight. The truck is 20 feet out of the way on the road.  He lets me know which I credit his personal integrity.  He shows me the text from his manager telling him to leave it be and return to central in Grandview,MO.  The manager cites in the text that he will come out and pick the pod up.  The manager comes and picks up the pod and disappears into thin air.  The first driver let me know also that the manager would speak to me to clear up the damage.  This is obvious subterfuge.  I try calling the driver, he has been told to ghost me. I never hear back and he won’t pick up.  Suspicious? Yes.

Laureen Hill is assigned to the resolution.  After explaining all of this to her, she offers me a mere $200 and sends a form for us to sign stating we will not speak of this to any forum or public entity.  No thanks.  $200 won’t even pay for the new truck bumper. It’s laughable at this point.  You pay extra for their insurance which is also a scam.  Laureen cites in an email that we all sign something idenifying them of any damages.  I asked to see said contract.  Nothing back.  It is unreasonable to believe that a company can do any damages they want to their customers without any recourse and still stay in business.  That’s a policy I would not have as a business owner.  Needless to say, I will probably end up having to shell out $1500 minimum on fixing my own truck.  We may file a police report but we all know that does very little.

Moral of the story, if you hire pods they can come destroy the pod at your place or in transit and when they do arrive , they can run around destroying other unrelated to the move property items such as my truck sitting 20 feet down the road away from the driveway that has nothing to do with the pod itself.  Nice!  I’m sure a judge would see that as reasonable. NOT.

Max Rak Custom Pergolas and Decks Calgary, AB Vancouver, BC Maksim Rak Maksim A. Rak Maksim Anatoleyich Maksim Anatoleyich Rak Took deposit and didn’t do work as contracted Calgary Alberta

My parents hired Max Rak off of Kijiji to build a large deck. They paid him tens of thousands of dollars. He insisted on being paid cash. The limited work done was not adequate or to code. He told them he was licensed and insured but was not. He did not obtain a permit. We had to remove and replace all of the work done at a great cost. We are out over $50,000.00 in savings to these problems. English is not my parents first language. This man took advantage of them then ran away from fixing the problems.

If there are other victims out there who have dealt with this individual please contact us. He has multiple phone numbers and is likely in BC now.

People’s Choice Healthcare They took my credit card information to allegedly lock in my rate because I have COBRA until October. They went ahead and charged me without authorization. Metairie LA,

This past April I took an early retirement which forfeits health care benefits. I wasn’t sure if I would receive six months of COBRA after my retirement date so I started looking just in case. Unfortunately my search led me to Vienna of Peoples Choice Healthcare (888-821-2945). I carefully explained to Vienna that I still had to meet with my HR department and find out for certain if I would be getting COBRA. I made it clear that if I did, I wouldn’t need the decided upon plan until October.

Vienna told me that all she needed was my credit card information and she would be able to lock in the price of the plan. Vienna assured me that my credit card would not be charged until I contacted them to authorize it. I reiterated the agreement several times, just to make sure she understood. Vienna also told me to fill out all the forms she was sending to my email and return them to her, which I did. Long story short, someone from People’s Choice Healthcare charged my account starting in May.

I didn’t notice at the time due to getting payouts for unused sick time, et al from my employer (direct deposit). Then last week I got a call from one of their reps asking for this month’s payment (I put a freeze on the account I gave them). I told the rep I didn’t need the plan until October and had NOT given them authorization. The rep apologized and said she would send me an email and refund my account. Of course neither of those things happened.

Today, 06/18/21 finally got ahold of a supervisor who told me because I put my esignature on the forms by mistake, that was enough authorization to charge my account. The supervisor then refused to refund my account because, “We don’t give refunds after thirty days”. I pointed out that I spoke with one of her reps last week who told me she would refund me, well before the deadline but she still refused.

I told her to tear up the contract, I didn’t want their services. I hope People’s Choice Healthcare enjoyed the two hundred some odd dollars they embezzled from my account. The kids and I can skip a few meals to make up for the loss I guess.

Terramoto Auto Group LLC-2212 Chandler Rd W. Bellevue NE 68147 David Wilson, Gerald Edison Sold a 1972 Ford Bronco that they did not own and failed to deliver the vehicle as promised after I wired them 45,000 to the vehicle. Bellevue Nebraska

We found the car for sale on the internet as we looked for a classic restored Bronco. They responded to our inquiry and agreed on a price for the car. They asked foor the funds to be wired to UMB Bank in West Virginia and then to a San Francisco based auto sale processing firm called “Payward Venture”.

Payward we found out uses www.kraken.com to process payments. Once the car did not show up yesterday 6/17 as promised, their phone numbers we were using to reach them were both disconnected.

Boat Butler Dave Michalak Boat Butler Dave Michalak Cassopolis Michigan

Contacted Dave Michalak from Boat Butler to purchase a lift for my new boat. After sever phone calls, and a week’s worth of time going back and forth, we settled on a deal. Dave Michalak’s deal was specifically base on a cash only price. To put that into perspective, we are talking about a $12,200 lift, including setup and delivery. On Friday 5/14/21 I called Dave and put down a $2,000 non-fundable deposit with my credit card. Dave told me to sign the quote he emailed me and send it back. I was out of town at the time but told Dave I would sign the paperwork first thing Monday, which I did.

When discussing with Dave about scheduling the install I specifically told Dave I would like him to stop by the house before the install so we could go over things. I wanted to insure we were all on the same page, as I would be at work the day of the install. I asked Dave if he could stop by on Saturday 5/22/21 for about a 20-minute meeting. He told me Saturday was not an option but said he would stop by Tuesday 5/18/21 at 6:00 to touch base. Dave did stop by Tuesday and we discussed the install as planned. We both agreed to wait for the new boat to be delivered in order to ensure the install was done properly.

Here’s where it gets very odd. Looking back on things, I remember Dave constantly asking me for cash. I thought this was odd for two reasons. First, he was so extremely blatant about asking for cash all the time. However, I chalked it up to him trying to close the deal. Second, I gave him my credit card number to secure the deal. Even though the entire deal was all based on cash, I wanted him to feel comfortable. If something were to happen on my end and the deal didn’t go through, he was still guaranteed the $2,000 non-refundable deposit. Makes me wonder why cash was so important…

With that said, going back to our Tuesday meeting. After discussing the install and were walking backup to the house. Dave looks over at me and says, “You got any cash?”. I replied, “Dave, I feel like we are friends now, but I’ve had trouble in the past with people. I’d like to hold on to my cash until I have something to show for it. You have my credit card number for the deposit and guarantee.” He didn’t really push the issued and seemed to understand. We stood in the driveway and talk for a few more minutes. Dave ends with “just text me 2 days before the boat gets here.

Its not a big deal to get the barge down here” and drives away. Two hours later I get this text from Dave, not a phone call, a text. The text says. “After reviewing the job this evening, I’m going to have to pass on this sale/work”. I immediately tried calling him a few times, but got no answer. I then responded back to his text to see what the issues was? I still to this day haven’t gotten a response or reason why? On that note, Dave did the install on my neighbors lift and stores his boat over the winter. My neighbors lift and my new lift would have been about 35 yards apart. Based off this, I have no idea what the issues could have been?

Dave Michalak/Boat Butler is a company that has done all kinds of work on this lake. They are very familiar with the lake, the lake bottom, and people who live there. Why would my situation be any different from my neighbors, or anyone else on the lake? Again, I was offered no explanation and Dave will not answer my calls texts. Now here we are a week and a half before memorial weekend with a boat coming and no lift. The unethical way Boat Butler does business is absolutely astonishing. Buyer beware!

Custom Wrap Design Charge me for item that was not received North Miami Florida

I went to this place to get my car wrap due to reviews I saw on IG and internet. After dealing with co-owner Rivan for over a month, I trusted they would do a good job. After dropping my car off and was told 3 days, it took over a week to get my car back. Due to excitement of getting my first wrap I look passed a lot, like the decals I requested weren’t installed and items that were loose in my car which I mentioned to Rivan (knob for audio system).

Upon getting my car home and was promised the decals would be installed at a later date, I was placed on the back burner. I called, text and attempted to resolved the issues with Rivan but to no avail. I also discovered a missing peace that they failed to cover. I then Text about the decal to find out if they were going to reimburse me but he then told me the extra was for art work and that they could not produce because the owner was in Russia.

That was not the verbal agreement and I failed to see how he worded it on the receipt. Long story short, be aware of taking delivery of items paid for but job not completed. PS I gave a review on Google and he stated I did a candid review and I fail Sed to mention prep work he done before wrapping my car. If that was the case, he should have let me know what it was from the beginning instead of finessing the issue and not delivering items that he had no notions on doing. Shop around.

Velnue US Failure to Deliver Product El Paso Texas

I was charged $102 on October 20, 2020 for a product that was to be delivered in March 2021. Despite numerous attempts to contact James at Velnue, he refuses to refund my money and cancel my order. Numerous other people have requested the same; some of these requests have been granted, others have not. James has provided nonsensical “updates” on his life with no regard as to when said product will be delivered.

QuoteWizard Quote Wizard QuoteWizard by lendingtree Fraudulent Lead Sales

QuoteWizard should not be used by anyone ever. Here’s why:

1. Out of the 51 leads I’ve tracked, 25 have turned out to be fake as of this date.

2. 1 called me an f’ing stalker and said she never asked for the quote and never visited their website

3. 1 threatened to call the police.

4. Fake addresses verified by using Yavapai County and Maricopa County GIS mapping systems which show the current owners of the adresses.

5. Apartment numbers that did not physically exist.

6. Email accounts that hand’t been accessed in more than a year, for which Google and Yahoo had marked them for deletion.

7. Unoccupied properties.

8. One lead turned out to be real, but her home was too old to qualify for insurance.

9. When confronted with this information directly, the company denied sending out old, recycled leads.

$400 later, and nothing to show for it. Don’t waste your time. Either the company is using a web scraper to invent leads (which is what I suspect) or they are recycling leads so old the people I’ve contacted are the new owners of the phone numbers or just don’t remember that far back. Either way, the product being sold is not what they promised.

Personally, I hope the woman who threatened to call the police does so.

H and K Properties Liar, constantly harassed me Lexington Virginia

I should have known from the first phone call. There is no H and K, only H, which is Heather, the owner. She is not concerned about getting a tenant into a property, or their well being. We needed to find a place quickly. I took off from work early and agreed to go view a property that was priced too high. It was 45 minutes from where I was living. I took off work early to meet Heather, the property manager. She texted me 10 minutes before I was to arrive to tell me she had to take her daughter to dance class.

The owner of this company will more than likely file a rebuttal. When someone has gone to the time and energy to fill out all of the forms and tell their story, they are probably pretty angry by that point. That is me. Please ignore any rebuttal she files. Usually someone who has done nothing wrong does not have to defend themselves.

We were looking at a property that had been vacant for months. A run down, and dumpy vacation home which includes thrift store furniture. Heather the property manager was late arriving to the property and was obnoxious when we arrived bragging all about the fact that she is a licensed realtor. My 8 year old son said, “It stinks in here like and old attic.” The house was dirty. She promised it would all be cleaned up and the smell would be gone. It took 3 weeks to get us approved to move in. The entire time we viewed the property she kept staring at her phone and watch, rushing us through. When I asked questions she would not answer them and got us out within 10 minutes. I called the office every day needing an answer about the rental application no one answered or the receptionist said the owner was out for the day. The receptionist is very nice. I feel sorry for what she has to put up with.

When we needed to move into the house in March I asked Heather to meet us out at the property. She refused. I had a large Uhaul truck that I had to park on a busy street. There was no pre inspection of the property done, only a check list given to me. The house I was renting is a beat up dump. It was supposed to include things like sheets, towels, pot, and pans.It has no coffee make, toaster, scratched pot, and pans.  It did not. There was no inventory regarding the personal items and sacred artwork. Why the owners keep precious paintings in a rental property I do not know.

It still smelled of must when I moved in. It was never cleaned. I specifically told Heather to let the neighbors know I would be renting there so I could avoid wasting my time having them ask who I am.

The house was listed on apartments.com as available while I was renting it. One day a lady got out of her car and chatted up the next door neighbor about the property. I pulled in 1 evening at 8PM and that neighbor came flying outside to tell me that I am being stalked. One morning there was no water. In the middle of a Zoom meeting there is pounding on the door that won’t go away. I told the neighbor I was on camera with my boss. She stood outside going on and on all about the broken well and how it had to be fixed. This happened at least 5 times with the neighbor knocking, a guy coming to mow when I was supposed to be working. I shouldn’t have to be taking care of this. The property manager should.

Everyday we ran out of hot water because the hot water tank is about 15 gallons and is not on demand. We had no cell phone service. Phone service does not work through Xfinity. Imagine having to leave everyday to make phone calls. The house is always swarming with carpenter bees. The picnic tables are rotten. The lawn is rarely mowed and the area to walk down to the river is never mowed.

I lost 2 days of work unpaid because someone had hooked up cables to the sattelite dish. Heather told me everything was ready to go with internet. It wasn’t. There was no heat available the whole month of March. It would not kick on so I gave up and plugged in space heaters. As someone who had a large 145 year old house for 16 years I am capable of taking care of things. One morning at 6:30 AM on a Saturday in March the police were knocking at the door. A car broke down down the street and another neighbor thought maybe it had something to do with me. At the end of May I went into H and K’s office. As I was attempting to say to the receptionist that I will be using my deposit as my last month’s rent Heather comes storming out yelling and screaming at me that this is again the law. It is not.

From the very beginning of meeting this woman I have never trusted her. I cannot afford to lose $1,200 of money because she claims there is a scratch on the wall or the property is dirty. According to google reviews she consistently does not give security deposits back. Instead of her giving the property owners rent she kept the deposit. She also insisted that she had to come inspect the property while I was working. I refused her access and told her to get a court order. She did not want to do a pre inspection. She can wait until I leave to do a post insepction. After having to live in a basement apartment for 5 months and listen to young kids jump on the ceiling all day and night I was looking forward to some peace. I have no peace at all.

Yesterday and today we have had the flu. At 9AM each day roofers came to the property. I was never told about this. I had to call 911 to attempt to get the roofers to leave. They refused to leave even with the cops asking them to.

This is a forewarning that she will probably try to pull illegal tactics with whomever is renting. She has attempted to do this with me. If you absolutely have to rent from H and K properties I would suggest you make sure to use your security deposit as the last month of rent. I would not trust Heather to do anything she says she will. She has too many properties to look after and not enough help. All she does is collect rent. She is well aware of the fact that I have a restraining order against my husband for domestic abuse. I did not want to be left alone with roofers all day.

I read the google reviews back in February and most were negative. All of a sudden within the last 2 months of  there are positive reviews. Heather is the worst small business owner I have ever dealt with. While most people in Lexington, Rockbridge County are incredibly kind I refuse to live there, mostly because of having to deal with her.
