I signed a contract in July 2020 for new replacement vinyl window, capping the wood and covering up some blocked windows.  We previously had worked with James (Jim) Johnsen when he worked for Siding-1 Windows-1 exteriors.  Since we had a good experience with the first round of windows in my building, I decided to have other windows replaced.  He said he had his own company but was still using the same installation crew.  

My son also decided to have some windows replaced, so we both signed contracts with James Johnsen.  At first he said delays were due to the factory closing fir a few weeks due to Covid, then winter hit and it was too cold, then he lost the window measurements, then the factory was trying to locate the windows, then promised my son the installers would call to schedule installation.  We have been waiting but James just keeps texting every few weeks with other excuses and apologies, but never delivers on the promise to finish the job.

He is now doing business under the names of Exterior Consultants Enterprise Inc. & also under the name Exterior Consultants, Inc. My son & I are now going to have to file a complaint in small claims court and hope to stop him from doing this to others.  Don’t give this computer any money, unless they have completed the job 100%.

Matt Green signed me up 4 months on February 20th 2021 to run a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for my startup. They wanted me to wire half of the campaign cost which was USD $ 12,500 and the rest 50% would be covered from the funds raised. The prep time for the campaign was 60 days and the run time of the campaign was 30 days as per their agreement.

After the signup they hooked me up with their creative writer and thereafter had few emails transactions and as result after 4 months there are 4-word documents they put in the shared folder in the month of March 2021, they required my input on two of them and I send my reviews in March and I am yet to see the confirmation on those two documents.

 I spoke to Robert Klein who was assign as the project manager in the month of March

We repeatedly emailed him asking for an update.

For the following

1.      Next steps (To launch the campaign) 

2.      What are the info you would need from us to create the campaign page ?

3.      Are there any other additional fees to be paid to startEngine ? 

4.      What are the legal & Financial docs you will require in the process ?

5.      How do we create the offer ? Valuation, share price , number of shares etc 

6.      Whom are we sharing the campaign with ? 

 

And the response to date form him was

“Ill check with my office first thing in the morning and get back to you talk to you soon”.

I start to worry and started searching the internet for reviews on them but failed to find anything which was negative this I did before we signed them up as well, until I searched for the words “Scams ideazon” I found articles of people who had the same experience with them who has reported on Ripoffreport as well on BBB. I felt devastated as the money I used for this was my mothers savings .

I immediately wrote to them and asked them if this was what they were doing to me asking my money back with the links I found on the internet .

He got back to me with a campaign date for the 22nd of June 2021 we been repeatedly asking them for the answers for months for the following question they never got back to us to date. All of a  sudden he has a date in week when none of the documents were submitted to the platforms (Matt green send me the links after the next day). I understood they were trying to fool me so I asked them for a refund.

Trying to give them one more opportunity we asked them to give us substantial evidence for if the work they did “emails attached” they failed to and they ignored the calls which we scheduled to try and work things out. I wrote them an email asking for an full refund (the website says 100% moneyback guarantee” they have yet not got back to me.

shoes.com REFUND NOT ISSUED; INCOMPETENT, NON-RESPONSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE Charlestown MA

This report concerns the non-issuance of a refund in the amount of $118.95 for a pair of sandals bought online from shoes.com on May 16, 2021, then returned (unworn, i.e., brand new) via UPS to that company’s warehouse in Woburn, MA on June 7, 2021. The shipment containing the sandals was received at that warehouse at 12:12 pm on June 10, 2021.

According to the company’s website, refunds for returned items are supposed to be issued within FIVE business days of receipt. It is now June 18, 2021, and I have yet to receive my refund. Moreover, there have been only canned responses to emails sent to their Customer Service Dept. regarding the non-issuance of my refund. And, when I have tried calling shoes.com, I have been placed on hold for upwards of 90 minutes without ever being connected with an actual human at their offices.

Over the past couple of days, I have checked several different websites at which customers can post complaints regarding businesses and have found hundreds of complaints regarding shoes.com. 99% of these complaints involve the non-issuance of refunds and the complete lack of accountability on the part of the staff at shoes.com regarding this matter. The staff either makes up reasons for not issuing the requested refunds (e.g., the shoes returned had been worn or the box the shoes were received in was damaged) or the staff simply hangs up or does not respond to customers’ calls or emails, respectively.

Here are the details for the unworn item that was received at the shoes.com warehouse in Woburn, MA on June 10, 2021 at 12:12 pm:

I complied with all of shoes.com’s criteria for returning purchases when I shipped these sandals to their warehouse where it was received at 12:12 pm on June 10, 2021. The return is documented on the UPS website (I have a bona fide copy of the return in my possession.)

By law, I am entitled to receive this refund. Therefore, I am demanding that the entire refund in the amount of $118.95 be issued to me IMMEDIATELY. That is MY right. And that is shoes.com’s LEGAL obligation.

Chad Hart of South Padre Trips scammed us out of roughly $5,000. His customer service started off engaging but he proceeded to treat us like we were stupid once our project got going at their properties. He constantly berated us with insults, especially the females he was engaging with on our team.

If you want to do business with someone who acts like you’re a piece of garbage and is entitled to everything, Chad is your man. Not being compensated for work and being conned out of deposits is obviously no way to do business. We suggest you consider others if you’re interested in a vacation / property / listing on South Padre Island.

New Directions Center, INC Degrading, unprofessional liars Staunton Virginia

Before I begin, I will say that this agency will attempt to write a rebuttal. In my opinon those agenices and companies who write them do so because they are defensive, and in denial. If you did nothing wrong, you do not have a reason to have to explain yourself.

At first this agency appears to be a non profit designed to assist domestic and sexual assualt survivors. They do not offer assistance. There are no counseling services and there is usually a waiting list for their shelter. They do not offer emergency services. If someone is being beaten, it is expected that the police will transport the person to somewhere close to the shelter. When you call for emergency help you are disconnected. The person answering the phone does not phone back.

Once a woman arrives there is a stack of paperwork which takes 2 hours to complete. After someone has been beaten, is afraid and overwhelmed, this is an incredibly inappropriate time to do this. They just have to get those statistics! This is a 30 day motel for women. You are not given new sheets, bed linens, or towels. Nothing is sanitized. When a client is discahrged, they are not required to clean their personal space.

If you do not have children you are expected to share a room with up to 2 other people and stay on a bunk bed. Women who do not want to stay at Valley Mission lie and say they are domestic violence victims. One woman lied about this for over 3 months while popping pain killers. There is supposed to be a no locking your bedroom door policy. The same woman constantly took pain killers to get high every night, and locked her door. Staff members were told about this. They openly chose to ignore it. 

There is no food provided. If someone doesn’t have SNAP benefits they will starve. There are cans of tomatoes, pasta, jars of peanut butter from a local food bank. There is no consistency to when and how meals are served or prepared. There is no baby food or formula. Some women arrive late at night. They are then woken up early the next morning when they are exhausted and mentally drained. A case manager who works within the shelter is assigned to each client.

The case manager does not have a degree in social services. She grew up overseas and only knows of options in Augusta County. She is young, immature, disrespectul, and condescending. You are told immediately that you need to find a job. No childcare is offered. If you have children, you are told to place an ad on Facebook to find a babysitter. Most women cannot afford to pay a babysitter if they have not been paid yet. TANF will not pay for childcare until someone has been working for at least 2 weeks. What is a woman with 2-3 children supposed to do? Oh, wait! 95% of the women in there are single with no children. There are also always women high on drugs, and/or coming off of drugs. This is not an appropirate place for children to stay. 

The shelter is in a rural location with few businesses in the area. Transportation is not provided, except on the bus. The bus stops running at 8PM weekdays and runs until 5PM on Saturdays. For women who are hiding from their abusers, they shouldn’t be standing on the highway waiting for a bus. The shelter location is not a secret within the area where it is located. Local healthcare providers know where the shelter is. Since women walk in and out of the front door on a main thoroughfare, it is easy for someone to find out where you are staying. 

The biggest problem with New Directions is that they do not listen to what the clients are saying and what they need. There is a one size fits all policy. They are expecting that every woman who is there has/or did have a drug problem. Every woman should be on welfare. and work a minimum wage job, and get low income housing. The problem is that there is a waiting list for low income housing, sometimes a year.

There are some women who are killing themselves everyday to find jobs, childcare, and housing. Other women just go out all day and party. Sure, there are donations but these are picked through by the staff. The staff working there take all of the new and expensive items. They admit to this because they claim they aren’t paid well. What is left over are clothes that would not even be donated to Goodwill. There is dollar store shampoo and soap. While there are cameras all over the shelter property many women go and help themselves to donations, like appliances, or makeup.

Someone who wants to prepare for a job interview, cannot. There is no clothing, or assistance with job preparation skills. If someone wants to have a virtual interview they cannot because the shelter residents are so loud. In the middle of job interviews clients, and staff will come storming in. If someone is trying to hide the fact that they are in a shelter, they cannot. If a client purchases food like cake, ice cream or donuts these items are quickly stolen by residents who have sold their SNAP benfits for cigraettes, or just don’t have them. Residents are told by staff, “Don’t take someone else’s food because we really don’t have time to roll back the camera footage from the night before.” 

There are other staff members that are not in the shelter. The Director of Services does not have a degree in social services. She raised her voice one time and said to me, “You just need to swallow your pride and get over it.” To be a counselor in Virginia someone needs to have a post baccaluareate degree an experience counseling. New Directions has no licensed counelors so they offer to let the Director of Services counsel clients. Apparently there is nepotism going on within the agency because the Director of Services mother is the volunteer director.  

The head director is unqualified. Most directors have Masters or PHDs.She is used as a tool to look good for the agency. She has been highly unprofessional on all occasions. What she exactly does, I have yet to find out. Why am I writing this review? I am writing it because this is an agency that relies on donations. It is not fair to the people and businesses who have donated money/and or clothing, food etc. What I do not understand is; where are the donations going? Does anyone ever audit this agency or ask for their accounting records? 

They are constantly sweeping things under the rug. When called on it they become immensely defensive and have every excuse in the book as to why. None of the employees seem as though they want to work there. One of the employees stated, “I was hired because I am young, and mallable.” There seems to be this commonality of unprofessionalism. This is not a place where someone can get help. If you are thinking of this I would recommend you do not. This is a dirty dormitory. It is not set up to help. Please think twice about going here or making donations to them. 

AR500 Armor Horrible Customer Service and Internet Retailing Practices was charged for product and NEVER RECEIVED IT! Phoenix Arizona

AR500 Armor was recommended to me and I purchased their Veritas package on 12/23/20 and because the plates were CERAMIC LEVEL IV and a new product for them the lead time was said to be 20 weeks. Additionally, the estimated shipping date was 5/12/21 and they charged my credit card immediately for the product. In March of 2021, I was receiving emails from them where it advertised these same plates with NO WAIT TIME so I sent an email to them asking what gives.

Customer service replied that they weren’t the same plates and that they had not received the materials yet for the plates I ordered. As it came close to 5/12/21 I sent no less than 6 emails to see when I could possibly get the product that ordered the prior year and had been paid for by months.

I received sincere apologies from all the customer service agents who gave me numerous excuses for not delivering what I had paid for but no product. Excuses ranged from them not getting the materials needed on time to the pandemic but no one did anything until after 5/12/21 when ONE customer service rep actually put me in the shipping que or nothing would ever have happened!

The product finally shipped on 6/9/12, almost a month late and was shipped by FEDEX GROUND. Tracking the package was a joke as it looked as if someone was walking the package from Phoenix, AR to Ohio, first going from Arizonia to New Mexico then to Oklahoma and finally to Highland, ILL where it apparently disappeared! I was supposed to get the package on 6/15/21 by the end of the day but it is now 6/18/21 and Fed Ex doesn’t know where it is.

I made the mistake of contacting AR500 Armor’s customer support which is kind of like trying to explain the US Constitution to your dog with the same results! An AR500 Rep, Kevin Rowley who saw the tracking and told me to re-contact them after a week and maybe they would contact Fed Ex about the lost package. After explaining what I had gone through to get one product from his company he replied with a SARCASTIC email telling me “YOUR WELCOME” from which I replied for what, doing nothing? 

If you want Body Armor sometime before you die, DON’T go to these people go to RTS Tactical or some other LEGITIMATE internet company that won’t take your money up front then won’t deliver!
