Hampton inn & suites Portland ME by Hilton We intended to stay a night but were bitten by bed bugs over 20 times. Hotel staff refused to help. Anybody above the hotel staff is yet to contact me. I paid for a room I couldn’t use due to bed bugs Portland Maine

My name is Ramon Romero.  My family and I booked three rooms for a one night stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Portland West located at 1210 Brington ave Portland, ME 04102 for the night of August 1st, 2021. Up to yesterday, my experience had always met expectations.  We checked in early afternoon. After an hour in accommodating ourselves into room 325, where Nathaly and I intended to stay the night, we found a mold filled slice of pizza in the mini fridge.  

We called front desk and it was taken care of immediately.  We were satisfied, a mistake can happen and everything else seemed right. What I haven’t been able to withstand is experience in room 325 and the poor professionalism from the staff, which I will explain in the next words in detail.  Around the times of 1:30am-200am Monday august 2nd, Nathaly wakes up from the bed to an uncomfortable warm to hot itchy sensation on her right upper and rear part of her leg, after accessing the hives we both saw on her, we thought it could be bites from insects.  

We searched the bed and found an insect and a spot. The bites and how the insect look led us to believe it was a bed bug.  I then called front desk and what happens next is inhuman and troubling to the Hilton’s image of customer service.  I spoke with AJ on the phone.  AJ was evasive and questioned our judgement, after being explained what happened.  In his own words, AJ said, how come we didn’t noticed the bed bugs during the day.  I asked for him to come to the room but his answer was he couldn’t leave the front desk.

 I then requested to speak to the manager.  AJ calls me back to the room telephone as we’re getting ready to leave room 325.   We did not feel safe staying more time.  On the phone with AJ, he expresses no concern as he tells us there’s nothing he can do, he has no more available rooms, he can not accommodate us no where else, we were welcome to stay or leave as we please and the manager comes in later at 3pm.  We gathered our belongings and went down to the lobby where we spent the next hour trying to think up a possible solution and outcome for Nathaly’s bites and our stay for the rest of the night.

AJ refused my request of work phone numbers and emails of anyone else that could help.  In his own words he said Wendy the manager was new and she didn’t have an email and that we wouldn’t call her because she’s home, but at the time of the incident when I called him from the room, he said he had spoken to her about the situation, which I find hard to believe that an hour later from the incident, the manager can no longer be called.  

Nathaly was in pain from the bites, we bought water and claritin(first pack AJ handed me were four month expired)for Nathaly hoping that would make it better for the time being.  We then left to our car parked at the lot to spend the rest of the morning.     The rest of my family were in the rooms. I came back into the lobby to request an incident report, AJ creates a theatrical piece where he shuffles some papers looking for an incident report that he never created and no one else could of made because he was the only staff present.

 I went back to breakfast after that. When we came back someone else was at the front desk, a short lady.  I explained what happened but she also denied help saying she had no incident report and no work numbers or emails to anyone above her.  She had me write up an incident report on a paper printer page.  I left my phone number and email address on the page.  It is now Tuesday afternoon.  I haven’t yet been reached for help by anyone at Hilton.

 I have pictures on the marks on Nathaly’s body, pictures of the bug we found, a video of the room n stain on the sheet, video of the last conversation with AJ, a picture of the incident I was asked to write up.

I searched around and found a car seat designed for large disabled children and according to their website the chair would fit. I happily ordered the chair even though it was $830. 

The day I received it I tried to use it but she did not fit in it. I wrote and explained the situation and asked to do a return. I was told to donate it to the poor and no refunds.

 

UNICE HAIR UNICE REFUSE TO GIVE REFUND FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT Santa Fe Springs California

I ordered a Unice pre-plucked virgin hair (body wave) HD Lace (5×5 frontal length lace) 180% density, middle part, 26 inches in length on May 18, 2021. Recieved product May 24, 2021 at 1:55 p.m. Opened the box to see what I did not order. The wig was brown and not black (1b), the length of the wig was not 26 inches stretched, it was 16 inches when you stretch or straighten the hair. In addition, the length was only 16 inches and not 26 inches in the nap area of the wig.

The wefts were sewn on the inside of the wig cap. The knots on the wig were visible. The wig was not what the company advertised on their website. In addition, the website states they ship from U.S based warehouses, well my wig came from China and they charged me an international fee without my knowledge and approval. On May 27, 2021 I called the number the company has listed on the site (1-626-782-4321) it went directly to voicemail. When it went to voicemail, it was full so I could not leave a message.

I sent an email stating my dissatisfaction with their product. I told them I refused the product and FedEx  is sending it back to the sender, which was in China. The company was threatening me by refusing to give me a refund if I did not send it to their warehouse in California. Somehow, they were able to contact FedEx to change the location the package is to be delievered to. They said they are going to deduct money from my refund if I did not change the address, then they said they if I could keep the wig, they would give me a discount on my next order.

I declined to accept their offer. I have been requesting my refund since May 27, 2021. I still have not recieved my refund. They refuse to refund me my money while having the product. This company is a fraud. They falsely advertise products they do not have. And they lie about their 30 day refund policy. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Carid Ordered rims on the 22nd of July. Called on the 30th or July. Rims hadn’t been ordered yet. Waiting on type of Vehicle. There was no vehicle! It’s for my camper. I told them it was or a camper, and even spoke about how unique it was, etc. So, on the 30th, it was input and was told they would get this out immediately. The person I initially spoke with was not there that day. Called today, 4th of Aug and was told it wouldn’t be shipped until Friday! Again, they person I initally spoke with wasn’t there. 

What a scam outfit this company is! I will be calling daily until I receive those darn rims and will tell anyone and everyone what this company is incompetent and to buy elsewhere where they do what they say they are going to do.

These guys are nameless, faceless, clueless “franchisees” who refuse to even speak to customers. They represent themselves as local business people but they are anything but that.

In my case, their lawnworkers left my gates wide open and my dog fence down, giving my fenced-in pets the opportunity to escape. When I called to complain, there was nobody to talk to except what sounded like a very young girl who seemed confused about what I was telling her. I then canceled the service.

After that, they sent me another bill for service allegedly performed after I had fired them. There was no evidence that any further service had been performed and wouldn’t have been authorized anyway.

They have been badgering me to pay their bill for less than $100 for over a year.

Just a horrible company.

This shop has two or three ways to overcharge….. The one, if I go to the electronic cashier (and it is almost impossible to find a humal cashier) is to mis-bill the item, so today I entered ‘nectarines’, the machine said ‘nectarines’ back to me….. but on the bill it listed them as ‘peaches’ which $1 per pound higher. The other ways are for them to advertize ‘but 1 get a second free’ but when I scan the second it is not free

I catch these, and go to the customer service to get my money back (on good days I just leave the electronic cashier, but again I have to start from the beginning on another cashier), but then I normally have to wait at least half an hour while either the cashier is not there or is dealing with other people (who’ve probably also been overcharged!).

The other thing is the crappy food – mainly fruit and vegetables. Many feel and/or taste as if they have been kept in the fridge (or sometimes they are so bad they feel as if they were kept in the freezer!) for 6 months.

They also have milk that tastes disgusting (their own-brand milk), they have chicken with injected water (they claim it has ‘broth to add taste’ but I’m quite sure what they really do is inject broth as it costs 5% as much to make as chicken does, do the customer must buy more to fill up.

I only stay with them because I do not have another shop to go to, as, in Pittsburgh, they have an almost complete monopoly of the city – and they badly abuse it

Arms Center I purchased Glock 19. The cancelled the sale and refuse to refund the $500.00 paid to them. Lancaster California

The sales that took place on 7/20/2021. I purchased a Glock 19/Generation 4 Pistol for the amount of $500.00, which was paid for through Pay Pal on the same date. I was told that the sale was cancelled because my Pay Pal account was named Rockin’ Radios, an old name I had on the account from years prior, but have never changed it.

The gentleman I talked to felt it was a “business” which I understand and I am not in anyway a “business,” but I was told that I would be receiving a refund. I have contacted your “Chat” site, sent a message E-mail, called (no answer), sent a letter, and even tried the Pay Pal contact, but I am receiving no response.

This scammer sent me an invoice through Facebook, I paid through PAYPAL (thinking I’d be covered). He was advertising on eBay that he can remove an iCloud lock on an iPhone. I had two phones that required his services. He replied right away, gave all the right answers so after he invoiced me I paid and we set up a day/time for hime to do the services via Teamviewer.

Day/time came and he was nowhere. Later that day, (after I sent a message, I got an email late that night that his daughter broke her arm in two places that morning and was sorry. So we rescheduled. I messaged him the afternoon of the reschedule day and he replied right back again that all was good and he’ll be ready. You guessed it. No show. No replies. No nothing.

Facebook says “too bad, you made payments through a peer-to-peer service (even though he invoiced me through Facebook Pay. Paypal says too bad, it shows as friends and family payment (it wasn’t something that could be changed to services payment). Further, Facebook won’t remove the guy!

I used to think of Ashley Furniture as being cheap furniture, but when we looked around and found amazing pieces and even bought a sofa and a chair. Our helper, Jenny, was attentive without being overbearing. We were very pleased with our purchase….that was the beginning of April of 2021. It was halfway through July when our couch was delivered. It’s August now and we still don’t have an arm to our chair. It was supposed to be delivered today, but somehow didn’t make the truck and no one updated us until after it was supposed to be delivered. Arm ETA is September.

Then there was the assembly of the couch. They didn’t do it. The couch pieces were pushed together so we didn’t notice right away that they weren’t secured until my toddler fell between them and almost broke her leg! Not being hyperbolic, this was serious and could have been worse if we were parents who weren’t within arms reach and it had been her head. We told customer service and NOTHING. So now we have unsafe, unassembled, furniture. Maybe in September (only 6 months late) we’ll be able to spend time in our living room.
