In January I accepted a collect call from my brother.  When I got the call they did not disclose how much the call was.  I spent about a hour on the phone with my brother.  I checked a couple days later to see what the charge was it was $38 for a hour. 

I thought that was high for a hour.  I just received my bill and the charge is now $87 for a hour.  I called them and they said the fees are up to the phone carrier or some BS.  They know if they disclose their fees no one would pay.  Would you?  So now I'm trying to get my money back. 

I do not agree to the charges.  If anyone know what else I can do let me know.

We ordered the product for Christmas on Dec. 3 shipping date was given to us within a week of order date. We received an email two weeks later that it was going to be late here is what they sent.

In this day and age almost all reputable companies offering health related, perishable products have a refund policy.  Even the not so reputable ones, that send you stuff that you didn't even order have refund policies!  Not Happy Mammoth!  The product I ordered, Hormone Harmony, tastes exactly like vomit.  Not trying to be disgusting it's just that's what it tastes like.  There's no way I could mix this powder in anything to mask the flavor.  Apparently, I'm not the only one as a email went out to all of the folks who had purchased it.  Below is a copy of what it said. 

My gripe is that once I tried the product and relized that there is zero possibility of me being able to use the product, I contacted them and they basically just said too bad – zero refunds.  I went back to their site and the info is there but this product is truly so incredibly heinous that I want to try to help others from getting caught in the same expensive, no way out trap.   

We want to address the feedback we have received about the flavour of Hormone Harmony…

As we know, the flavour of something is subjective, open to various opinions and preferences vary dramatically from person to person. However, the feedback we have received for the Hormone Harmony outweighs what we receive for our other products, so I wanted to take the time to explain the following two things to you:

  1. Why Hormone Harmony tastes the way it does; and
  2. What we are already doing to make improvements to the product

Firstly, our formulation policy at Happy Mammoth is to create ‘clean’ and natural products without the inclusion of artificial additives such as sweeteners, fillers, preservatives, binding agents, thickeners, artificial flavours and other inflammatory additives your body doesn’t need. In fact, we wrote the book on 47 Dangerous Additives you need to avoid…

Second, our founding principles have always been to include ingredients in their most effective form and at the dosage amount — demonstrated by numerous scientific studies and clinical trials to get you the fastest results — so you can overcome your unique health issues to make new, long-lasting positive health changes.

When Hormone Harmony was in its initial Research and Development phase, our R&D and Lab teams were confronted with a dilemma…

Obviously, we will choose option #1. We think the second approach is horrible. And we will not be like most other health food and supplement companies that use this approach to their formulations. In fact, the second approach is one of the biggest crises in the industry to this day.

As you can see, it’s not possible to have the best of both worlds here. And we are not in the business of creating candy or soft drink style flavoured products.

Now, the three ‘problem ingredients’ that cause issues with the taste are:

  • Berberine Bark Extract HCI (shown to end sugar cravings and make weight loss easier)
  • Chaste Tree Berry Extract (shown to reduce hot flashes, rebalance Estrogen and reduce symptoms of Hormone Imbalances)
  • Ashwagandha Extract (shown to ease stress, reduce anxiety, rebalance cortisol and improve mood)

SEASONS TIRE Seasons Tire lied to me about what the monthly payments would be WARREN MICHIGAN

I needed a tire so I kept seeing the advertisement that Seasons Tire had on there windows. The advertisement showed that, Pay $50 down and get 4 new tires. I wanted a used tire because that was all that I could afford. The Guy told me that they didn't have any used tires but I could get 4 new tires plus rims.

I told the guy that I was on a fixed income and I probably couldn't afford the tires and rims. He stated that I could. He asked for all my information so I reluctantly gave it to him. He told me that he was going to take $40 out from my bank account but he will give it right back to me. In which he did. So after the ok I started signing papers.

I told the guy that I couldn't see that well and I didn't really know what I was agreeing to. He called his self explaining the agreements to me as I was signing. After the paper work was done, I asked him point blank how much would the monthly payments be. He said that the finance company gives everyone 2 years to pay.

So I told that guy that I was on a fixed income and all I received was $860 a month. So he told me $10 a month and as long as you had the full balance paid in 2 years. He told me that I should pay more each month so that I wouldn't have any problems at the end of 2 years. I receives my pension check on the 1st of the months.

So I checked my account on the 3rd and found out that that finance company that Seasons Tire had gotten for me had taken out $461 from my account instead of the $10 that I was told was my monthly charge. I went to Seasons Tire and the guy that told me those lies was at the desk. I told him what my problem was and he told me that he was tired of people coming in there telling him about our problems with the money situations.

That told me that he I wasn't the first one that they had screwed over. I will never trust another person telling me that they is telling me what I am signing. The guy told me that he didn't tell me anything about $10 or the free towing for 2 months. I am 71 years old and they took half of my money. To keep from getting a court case about  doing something to that guy, I told him I am going to talk to a person at my bank.

The bank couldn't do anything about my money because it wasn't really a crime for what he done to me and others. But she suggested me closing that account and getting another one set up. So I did that but I had a lot of calling to do so everyone that is important to me knows that I have a different account number.

I am putting this Rip Off Report so they won't get caught up in the same situation that I have gone through with Seasons Tire located at 2971 E. 8 Mile Rd in Warren. 

Ad Astra Recovery Services, Inc. for Speedy Cash Speedy Cash Sending Fake Debt Collection Letters for Debts Never Owed wichita kansas

I received a debt collection letter from Ad Astra Recovery Services noting Speedy Cash as Original Creditor listing a crazy amount of money owed with an account number and asked to call 1-866-3982089 to speak with a recovery specialist.

Letter also states they previously sent me a letter that sets forth certain rights I have under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act…which they did not do.

This is a hoax and a scam. I have never borrowed money from Speedy Cash.

Suttie’s Insurance Agency Inc Suitties Failed to Disclose Bad Faith, Breach of Contract, Unfair Dealing Reputation of Liberty Mutual Insurance, Owner of SafeCo Albuquerque New Mexico

SUTTIE'S INSURANCE AGENCY INC: Bad customer service, failure to disclose, bad faith, fiduciary malpractice. We insured our 2nd home thru Suttie's with SafeCo decades ago. Liberty Mutual Insurance (LMI) bought SafeCo, 2008. LMI also owns: Ironshore, American Fire & Casualty, Ohio Casualty, Peerless Insurance, etc.

Our issue was our cedar fence extension, about 100' was badly damaged by a 2019 storm. LMI insulted us with a $265 offer, then applied our $500 deductible, paying us $0. Replace cost will be about $5,000. We can't afford, leaving our home vulnerable to home invasions, vandalism, increased injury risk, and difficult for us to sell. Repeated appeals by us all fell on deaf ears.

For a decade+, Sutties gladly took our premium monies for LMI, with LMI's little or no intention of ever paying claims. I emailed complaints to Sutties several times but received no response.

We investigated LMI. Since LMI bought SafeCo, SUTTIES FAILED TO DISCLOSE TO US what it knew or should have known critical to our insurance decision-making:

NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUES: Worse thing any U.S. firm can do is to betray, demean and disrespect our Country. Very big deal to us: I am a Disabled Veteran who honorably volunteered and served our Country during time of war. LMI runs despicable TV ads showing The Statue of Liberty – sacred American symbol – on one side.

On other side is a person acting or looking bizarre and/or crazy – implies that The Statue of Liberty (America) makes people act and appear bizarre and/or crazy. In many LMI ads (eg: emu ads), a garish yellowish color is prominent, which appears to closely match the color of Chinese flag stars and some Chinese cultural symbols (eg: Chinese Lantern).

DOD regards China as a major enemy of the U.S. LMI is the only "American" insurance company allowed to operate in Western China (Chongqing); means that China controls LMI. China never does anything for free. If LMI substituted its Statue of Liberty image with that of First Emperor Chin Shih Huang for the same insulting ads, for sure, LMI would have zero China market share – if not sued by China.

Disturbing complex dealings involving China (Fosun International Ltd, insurance company), LMI and its Ironshore subsidiary, Wright & Co. (previous subsidiary of Ironshore; bought, later sold by Fosun), Starr Companies, Lloyd's China platform, and CoverWallet. Wright USA writes most of the liability insurance policies for Federal workers, including CIA agents.

The personal, private and financial data of 1,000s of CIA and other Federal law enforcement officers and their families are at grave risk of compromise. Wright's database is a goldmine for China to identify and locate undercover CIA agents, and to find which CIA and other Federal employees and family members, are most vulnerable to blackmail, bribes and agent recruitment. Grave National Security risk.

CRIMINALITY ISSUES: Hard-earned premiums are not intended to pay for multi-million dollar compensation packages + golden parachutes for about 10 of its execs, fleet of 5 long-distance luxury corporate jets, state-of-the-art hangar, lavish resort stays, etc. LMI. You expect your claims to be evaluated and paid fairly, quickly, fully based on your coverage, losses – not based upon some arbitrary low-ball formula contrived by MBAs.

Again, LMI. Nor expect their claims adjusters to be financially rewarded for denying or low-balling you. Again, LMI. Nor tolerate bad employee treatment: LMI's history of not paying overtime, paying much smaller salaries/bonuses to its female employees, and its glass ceiling. Out of LMI's 54 Operational Managers, only 2 have identifiable female names! LMI abuses its female employees by duping them into doing its dirty work for their big boys who then use these ripped-off premiums to pay for lavish lifestyles.

Out of about 100 insurance firms, LMI ranks about #8 from the bottom – many LMI bad faith and breach of contract complaints. "Soaring greed at Liberty Mutual" (Brian McGrory, Boston Globe, 2012). "Liberty Mutual tries to squirm out of every claim" (Bill Shaw, 2016). LMI uses the "Pure Premium" ratio (PPR) criteria (basically, the % of total premiums used to pay total claims) to measure LMI's profitability, to evaluate its claims adjusters and their bonuses. The less claims paid, the lower the PPR, the better their evaluations and job security, and the bigger their bonuses. You get the picture.

You pay insurance to protect you from catastrophic financial losses.You rightfully expect losses to be reliably, fairly, totally and quickly paid, less deductible. Insurance firms which delay, nitpick, obfuscate, use technicalities, low-ball, refuse to fully consider losses or justify their offers are crooks. Period.

MAITA Toyota Service Department Daughter was taken advantage of and charged for unnecessary service items Sacramento CA

Daughter went in for a tire rotation and oil change, and services were performed without her consent or pricing strucuture. The bill came it at $525, which was a shocker to her. She waited at the dealership for 3 hours and no one gave her an update or the final cost for the service. We are lodging a complaint with the better business bureau and Toyota motor corporation.
