Buyer Beware: Joe DeGeorge and Cornerstone Flooring & Remodeling is a scam. Near complete lack of communication for a job done horribly. Any amateur armed with $50 worth of tools and a youtube video could do a better job than the “dope addicts and drunks” that he will send to your house (Joe’s description of his subcontractors not mine). IF they show up they will not follow the installation instructions of the product he sold and as a result they will peel up, have duplicate boards, and will not follow any kind of recommended staggering pattern.

They will also cause minor damage to your home and hope you dont find it. Joe DeGeorge with Cornerstone Flooring and Remodeling has major difficulties proactively contacting you with updates or expectations except when he picks up the check for the job. He does not have employees. He subcontracts the work. He takes your money, finds the lowest bidding subcontractor, then sends them to install as quickly as they can.

Do not use Joe DeGeorge or Cornerstone Flooring and Remodeling for any project. It has been months of lies, poor results, broken promises, and near zero communication unless initiated by me. Tell your friends, have them tell their friends.

We use to love this place until it went under new management. We came one day and they were late on our tub service so when it was over, I asked what about the lateness, waiting for drink refills etc. Remember we have been here under new management. Now they have drink maximums and won’t let you purchase additional time on the tubs.

Remember you can only do the tubs if you pay for the 150.00 massages. Just totally gone down on the customer service. When I reached out to the new owner, she defended all the bad behavior and claims they never increased their prices. How would you know as a new manager when we started going here 20 years ago? We have decided to not visit this place again.

I took out a loan with Title Max July 3,2020. And was paying them $127.16 every month for nine month totaling $1,144.44. For a loan of $600.00 dollars.And I don’t think I should pay anymore cause it would be this would be loan sharking.. I have the proof but my computer will not let me download it.

I tried twice here. Shelly the front desk person is the worse and actually doesn’t speak when you walk in nor say bye. They now have a guy who answers the phone and hates if you call from a restricted number, who cares about that? I was asking him his name and he hung up on me. Just rude.

My advice to everyone:  STAY AWAY FROM MARY CALVERT AND OWN IT HOME LOANS!

Mary Calvert NMLS # 1094720 is the Worst Loan office you could ever work with.  I would never do business again with Mary  or ownithomeloans.com.

This is what happened to me:

– Mary Calvert did  not know how to lock in the rate
– Mary Calvert was very slow with delivery of Good Faith Estimate
– Own It Home Loans in Boca Raton, FL charged $1000 in fees up front
– Mary Calvert did not get my settlement document until 4 hours before closing and by law, they are suppose to give you this doc at least 24 hours in advance
– Own It Home Loans settlement document contained additional fees that I never agreed to

I always advise anyone that is getting a loan to demand a Good Faith Estimate and those values should match your settlement doc from the title company, maybe except for escrow amounts.

In my case, it was off by over $1k on processing fees and they tried to rush me to close on this loan.

Needless to say that I cancelled my loan and in the process of getting back my $1000 loan fee.

Repair tech claimed dryer didn’t require repair but claimed if it did, he would return.  Dryer did not work after he left and didn’t return calls or emails after 2 weeks.  

Joe Wagner has recruited dozens and dozens of sales reps to work under his EZPay flag, and makes promises on lifetime residual income on the account sold under his business. If there is a dispute or a person wishes to leave the company and work with someone else Joe takes it personal and stops your residual payments and collects them himself instead.

Joe will have you go out and sell multiple accounts until you’re done and then just takes your commissions for no reason. Beware of EZPay and Joe Wagner. This person is a liar and will steal from you the minute he decides he doesn’t like you. Stay away!

The Genesis Charitable Foundation in Houston, TX is a fraudulent charity.  It is operated by a man named Davion Sandifer.  He uses the name Dave Sandifer-Hatch to hide his identity.  It took a while but now we know the truth.  Hatch is a last name he stole from a woman he worked for over a year ago.  It was all over the local news last summer when her accounts were hacked and she suspected him.  He now tells everyone she is his mom.  That is a lie!!  He steals her pictures and reposts them as his own.   Look it up.  Super disturbing!

The Google reviews for the Genesis Charitable Foundation are fake and show pictures stolen from other charities.  He used them on the charity’s website, Instagram, LinkedIn, and local sites to promote the fake charity.  The Genesis Charitable Foundation has advertised job openings on LinkedIn and Job Searcher posted by fake employee profiles using stolen pictures of other innocent people.  Mr. Sandifer takes donations and money from job seekers through apps like PayPal and CashApp.  Dave Sandifer-Hatch has been accused by more than one person of running an employment scam through this charity.  You can search Google to see all of it.  Do not apply to this company!  https://www.instagram.com/p/CGT-U9OjR8z/?utm_medium=copy_link

Davion Deshay Sandifer is on probation now in Iowa, and is facing charges in San Marcos and Houston.  Research it yourself.  It’s all public record.  99% of everything on that website he created is a lie.  Beware!  Don’t get scammed!

In May 2021, I received a letter dated from 2019 stating that I owed USAA over $200 for insurance that I never had. My ex husband was dumb enough to have USAA insurance on his truck, not my truck, his truck. And they are trying to get me to pay his bill. I have refused & reported him to the BBB as well as the attorney general of Texas.

I have tried several times over the years to cancel my “membership” with USAA & have been told that I am automatically a member due to being in the service. My information is just handed over by the government to a random company & I have no say in the matter. Stay away from these scam artists. Allstate is far superior for insurance needs.
