Paypal Statement balance miscalculated.

End of month statement: balance incorrectly figured. Beginning of the month balance plus deposits, less debits did not agree with the ending balance. Their ending balance was off by over $20.00. (In their favor). This happened in 3 different months totalling over $60. I figured out that an end of the month food purchase was deducted from the balance, but not listed. This happened on the last day or two of the month in each of the 3 incorrect months.

The transaction did list on the following month statement and was subtracted again from my balance. I emailed them this info to their dispute department. I sent them a spreadsheet showing my transactions and running balances. They replied no error! Their list of errors to choose from did not include statement errors, so I had to pick something, and the best choice was to click on the transaction that was subtracted twice but listed only once. The PayPal dispute dept did not spend enough time to analyze in depth their own math!

They obviously have a glitch in their accounting that is subtracting pending transactions from the month end balance (without listing the transaction because it is not finalized) and then listing it and subtracting it again (with tip included) when the transaction finalizes at the beginning of the following month. The pending transaction should affect available balance only, not actual balance. They don’t report actual balance on their statements. They incorrectly use the month end (available) balance as the next month’s beginning balance.

Just like every other Yelp review, this left a bad taste in your mouth, they swindled and left with a highly inflated bill for some tasks that were never performed. They are callous, pushy, rude, aggressive, manipulative and lied about insurance covering the work, then they proceed to collect the amount of money insurance deem as unnecessary and inflated which don’t meet with industry standards. These people come over and plop down some fans, leave it running for weeks and then charge you thousands of dollars without giving you a quote.

Most positive reviews were written by friends and employees however the amount of  complaints outnumber the fake reviews. 

Unethical people and more complaints should be sent to the FTC.

Carshield American Auto Shield Declined my claim for car repair St Peters MO

My complaint is with CarShield and American Auto Shield because they work together. I signed up with CarShield but American Auto Shield administers the policy. Ten weeks ago I signed up for the gold plan car warranty and then 4 weeks ago my car had issues with the drive train. I took my 2014 Nissan Rouge to the local Nissan dealership and they determined that my transmission needed to be replaced and this would cost me $4000 so I submitted a claim with CarShield.

After 16 days, Carshield declined my claim saying that it was pre-existing, which is not possible because i drove the car to Nissan plus the head mechanic said there is no time stamp that determines when a break down occurs. I believe that this was declined because of the cost and believe that if it was a $200 repair, it would have been approved. It’s one thing to have a claim declined but it just made it worse when they took 16 days to decide this which is bad business plus i had to borrow cars/rides for 16 days

I bouhgt the highest package warranty from Select Home warranty, and now that I need them, it’s been 7 days I have no AC at the house, middle of summer, getting respiratoty problems due to it, 89 degrees inside the house. The company onlu promisses but does nothing to fix it. It is covered under the contract, they know since it broke, and still under claims department to be approved.

I call, the only thing they say is, I am so sorry, its under review. Can’t they realize that it is summer! It is ridiculous that amoutn of time waiting. I was forced to buy 2 window units so we can at least sleep and refresh from time to time. $139 each plus tax. They should refund me for those!

“F******” ripoff! We all purchase some type of insurance because we can not rub that crystal ball. We never expect to DIE but we purchase it. You purchase car insurance and hope like HELL you never have an accident. You PAY YOUR MONEY and purchase a ALLSTATE SQUARE TRADE PROTECTION PLAN and you get s**+**ed on! Yep, that’s what they do to YOU. I purchased a the plan for a Acer Laptop and filed a claim. From the start the Square Trade website allows you to ONLY file THREE ISSUES.

Therefore, if you have more than three issues YOU are **F**. What better way to protect their **A**. Filed the claim and the **S*B’s sent a reply back saying I had not made the purchase. So, I sent the same document back and received approval for the claim. However, they stated I had to pay to send the LAPTOP to them or THEY would find a shop for me for the repair. Well folks, the *B*****D’s said I had to pay for the *D** repair and wait for them to reimburse me.

This is not a April Fool Joke or Halloween in August. This is the Square Trade nightmare in the daytime. They continued stating I would be contacted within 24 hours only if you believe in fortune teller and throw pennies in wishing wells. Try 24 hours plus and no contact from them. Their own plan states free shipping and not a $$CENT$$ OUT OF YOUR POCKET! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PLAN.

Strickland’s Transmission Dustin Strickland Scammed my teenage son out of $2,200 for fake transmission rebuild Goldsboro NC

Good Afternoon my name is Michael Grady Sr. We live in Goldsboro NC. My son Zack is a 17 year old hard working teenager. He just graduated from Rosewood High School this year. He has an older Dodge truck a 2000 model. He took it to Strickland Transmissions in Goldsboro NC to have the Torque Converter replaced. While it was there the owner Dustin Strickland called him to tell him the whole transmission needed to be rebuilt and it was going to cost $2,200.00.

My son told him if that’s what it needed. He used the money he received from graduation presents and saved from his job to pay the entire amount by himself. We got the truck back after being told “it would be ready tomorrow” for 2 weeks. It was not running right. Took it back up there and the same run around again. Was told the valve body was bad (which I would think when you “TOTALLY REBUILD” a transmission that would have been done as well.

Finally got the truck back and it was doing the exact same thing. Took it back up there again. This time was told the solenoid was bad. Got it back and it was doing the same thing. I was getting highly upset now. Took it back up there to give them one more shot at getting it right. I went in about a week later and I said what exactly did you find wrong with it now bud? He said he had no idea because he just thought it would be easier to just REPLACE the transmission then trying to figure out what was wrong with it because they were so busy. Picked the truck back up and go figure it was doing the same thing.

He didn’t know but we had marked the transmission so when we got it back we confirmed it HAD NOT been replaced but that he lied to us again. I went back up there and needless to say I was HIGHLY upset by now. Asked him why he lied about replacing the transmission and of course he denied it for a few minutes but I kept pressing him on the issue. He finally admitted he LIED and that I should give him a break because he was just learning the business. I said you might be learning the business but you just didn’t learn to lie. He said give me one more chance to make it right and I PROMISE you I will replace it this time.

My hands are sort of tied due to the fact of already paying him $2,200.00. He said if it’s not right this time I will just give you your money back. I said OK. Well the truck was up there again for an additional 2 weeks and we go up there because we can not get a return call. We see the truck and noticed it had NOT been touched in the entire 2 weeks. I put up a long Facebook post about everything that had happened and finally got a call saying he had been out with Covid. Well his secretary quit during this time. She messaged my wife and I and said she had to let us know what was really going on because she felt so bad for Zack.

She said he did NOT have Covid that she was the ONLY one to have gotten it. Said all he does is lie to people and snort drugs all day. After my FB post there were numerous people who commented saying he had ripped them off as well. Well I have him RECORDED on my phone admitting to lying to me about replacing the transmission and EVERYTHING. I told him I was recording him to make him aware of it and he STILL admitted it.

So I have ALL the proof you will need to corroborate everything I am saying. I have the paid bill as well as the recording. He has still NOT refunded my sons money a month after he promised to. He sure didn’t mind taking his money. This man/business is stealing from teenage kids who work hard. He is taking advantage of kids for his own gains. I need any help you might can offer. Thank You

First and foremost… these guys are liars to the core. The first thing that my husband and I were told is that they will buy me out of my other timeshare. The fat bald buy that looks like a baby buddah kept saying that they needed all of my information from my other timeshare so that they can include it with the downpayment. WELL… I was sick and should have left. They played on it and stuck me with this mortgage.

They never contacted my other timeshare regarding a buyout. How I found out about the fraud, I received a call from Leigh Ann and Donna accusing me a listing my other timeshare for sale. I explained the situation to them and requested a call from a supervisor from the sales department, which I have yet to receive. They both claimed to have given the information to the supervisor in the sales department. They are money hungry bastards who care nothing about the lies that they fools pressure new buyers with. 

Not to mention, this buddah looking f*cker told me and my husaband that he would teach us how to sublet/rent our timeshare especially during golf season, despite the fact that it goes against company policy and I do know that I signed that. He also claimed that he makes at least $4000 per rental during the golf season.

I am not sure how I am going to handle this, but I will. I am in the process of seeking legal counsel. For what it is worth, if you have experienced anything like this, please reach out to me. I am going to start a class action suit against this company for fraudulently offering to buy my other timeshare, bating and switching, the pressuring of purchasing timeshares, and the whole gammut.
