I contacted what i Think was the real company who is not smart enough to even list their phone number so you can tell them there are scams going on.  I did maybe contact them using text which could also be a scam…. I contacted Chubbies on the site using two letter b in address and they so far have ignored me…    all they said in a text  is “we have noticed an uptick in fraudulent sites using us”.  That is it… WOW how none give a crap ….

Search engines like Google dont give a crap also… they could shut them down, but long as Google gets to make money, they are ok with it..

 The eCommerce online platform is known as Vroom. They are selling people

fraudulent used cars in other states and your state as well. It has been

and still is ongoing the worst experience that I have ever had. They have

pending law suites, uncountable bad horror stories online, some of the

worst customer service and follow thru on things they repeatedly say they

will do is abominable, completely untrustworthy. Let me tell you my story.

 

In March 2021 I purchased a 2018 Honda civic with 32,000 miles on it.

Vroom delivered it to my home on April 5th, 2021. The first problem was on

the day of the delivery there was supposed to be a 30-day tag in or on the

car. Lone behold no 30-day tag to be found. The delivery driver who didn’t

speak a lick of English had no idea what I was trying to ask him! So as any

normal person would do I called Vroom customer service number. They

reassured me that they could send me an email so I could print the tag off

and that they would Fed-ex me the real one overnight.

 

That never happened so the next day I called and emailed never got a response. Need your mind

that with Vroom you only have 7 days to return the car if you don’t like

it. So for several days, I attempted to contact Vroom the only response I

got was a Vroom case # email. It wasn’t for 6 days later that I got fed up

wrote a direct email and finally a lady sent me the tag in an email. I only

had one evening to test drive the car before it could not be returned.

 

Throughout April everything seemed to be fine. But on May 19, 2021,

The county courthouse called me. when I went to get my registration. The

clerk at the counter told me I had to get a VIN inspection done, which I

expected. At the sheriff’s office, I had to pay $25.00 for the inspection.

Back at the courthouse, they presented me with a $ 2,368.38 total for my

tags and taxes, which they said was due upon my leaving. As part of my

sales agreement with Vroom, they are supposed to have an all-inclusive deal.

Meaning I pay my car payment every month.

 

Then they pay for my Vin inspection, title and registration, and tags. Which to this day I still owe

the State of Kansas because It remains unpaid. That same day was the day

that car broke down! Needless to say, I hadn’t had the car but for 6 weeks

tops. Didn’t even have the title, registration anything. My husband had to

leave work to go pick me and the car, I had just purchased, up off the side

of the road. The next day we took the car on a trailer to Garden city to

the honda dealership where it remains to this day. Meanwhile, I’m calling

Vroom, Vsp the extended warranty, getting absolutely nowhere with them.

 

This went on for days then weeks. Finally, I had had enough so I scoward

the internet for hours looking for contact info on the higher-ups of the

company. After I found some contacts I sent them another very direct email

stating the laws and regulations to prevent things like this from happening.

 The next day I got a call from a man named Conner who said he was from the

executive customer support. He continued to say that they will buy back the

car and so on. We had a few correspondences. Then he stopped answering any

of my calls and/or emails. Again this went on for days then weeks. So I

decided enough is enough I wrote a certified letter to the Honda

manufacturer, to the cooperate office in New York to Paul Hennessey the CEO

of vroom. Also, I filled a complaint with the attorney general in my state

and yours.

 

I heard nothing from them. Both of the attorney generals responded

before I heard any more from Vroom. Then in June 2021, I get a phone call.

After the last vroom case I submitted. This time it was from Moriah who

said she will process my return and buyback and apologized for the lost

time etc… I agreed and am waiting, emailing, and calling customer support

with again no response. About a week later Moriah finally emailed me

stating any more correspondence from them would be from their legal team

because a legal complaint had been made. Yes, I did make those

complaints but what was I supposed to do? I am still making payments on a

car I cant use even though it is my only means of transportation. Even

though my hours at work have been cut drastically and I can now not afford

the monthly payments because I can’t get myself to work.

 

I am a mother of four kids, who works two jobs. So that is why I’m reaching out to you and

anyone else I can to help get what is owed to me and to try to prevent

anyone else from having to suffer thru the misfortunes with this company

and its entities. Trust me this is not an isolated event either. They are

no stranger to the allegations I am certainly not the first one they have

conducted bad business like it’s with!

I spent $900 on this program and can’t even utilize it. No, you can’t get your money back. The final exam is s**t, the first half will not tell you which questions you get wrong so you go in circles to figure it out. Once Janet Shaughnessy has pocketed your money, and you start having problems and questions…you are told to just go to the Facebook group for Transcribe Anywhere and get your questions answered. Or email her assistant, Marsha, who will give you BS responses. 

In the Facebook group you will soon discover that most of the other people can’t figure how to turn on a printer, let alone type. And be warned…Janet does like to be confronted with calling her out on her mistakes. 

Do the math: If you are paying $900, and 50 other people are paying the same to Janet in one month, how much is Janet’s monthly income? Answer: $45,000/month. She promotes herself as makes a six-figure income and now you can see why. You will be paying for Janet to maintain her lifestyle while you will not make anything. 

Her assistant Marsha, will give you bullsh*t responses. The exams are electorinially rigged to fail you automatically. The content of the legal trascription course is BASIC, and nowhere near being on a professional level or accurate in it’s info. This course is a joke and a scam. 

NOTE: All articles written as reviews for Transcibe Anywhere are written by people that are affiliate marketers that make money as soon as you click their article. The other eople who claim to be graduates are no longer working as transcriptionsts because they soon realized they were not making any money. They agreed to promote Janet and make money that way.  

I’ve reported Transcibe Anywhere to the BBB and filed a complaint to try to get my money back…not holding my breath since Janet has already spent my money on herself. 

Motorland Vintage America Tom Marshall refuses to honor the terms of the contract used in my transport of a car from Ocala, Florida to Arundel Maine

The broker that coordinated my move of an automobile failed to pay me for the service I provided moving an automobile from Ocala, Florida to Arundel, Maine.  Motorland Vintage America refuses to honor the terms of the bill of lading used in my transport of the automobile – specifically, that if the broker fails to remit payment to the motor carrier the shipper (in this case, Motorland) will be obligated to pay the motor carrier for the transport service.  Tom Marshall of Motorland refuses to comply with the terms of the contract and has not remitted payment.

I ordered a push mower engine $284.45 that was listed as 7/13/21. I later found out from Briggs and Stratton dealer that the engine won’t be on the market until Jan 2022 (6 months). When I tried to cancel the order they hung up on me after a couple of expletives.

Carrafa Properties Carrafa took $60k and did not even property complete half the scope. They promised to finish in 45 days and 232 days later were no where near done. NJ

This company and Gio can be best described in four words: Fraud, Con man, Liars, Extremely poor quality. Summary: I hired Gio in October to complete a full rehab for a 4 bed, 2 bath. He started work in December and still was not done at the beginning of August. He claims to be an expert but failed every single inspection several times. He was caught doing electrical work without a permit and fined $2,500. He took 2 months to do electrical and kept making excuses.

He took 2 months to do plumbing (which also failed several inspections). He took another 2 months to clear the rough-in inspection. He failed the insulation inspection at least 5 times. During this time he lied to me several times and now I have proof. I tried my very best to be reasonable and work with Gio, but the lies continued and the delays followed. Example” Gio: Plumbing is 100% approved. A minute later I call the town – they said plumbing failed. Then he makes up some excuse about why he lied.

The most disturbing thing about Gio and his company is they took no responsibility and always blamed the town or someone else. During this job he displayed extremely poor project management, his workers did a really terrible job, and he took $60K of my money without completing any one single scope. Not one thing I hired him for his complete (electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, flooring, windows, bath 1 and 2, kitchen, exterior paint, etc.). On top of that he has extremely poor communication.

They claim to provide daily logs and pictures and don’t. When I called Gio to complain and get updates he would use various tactics to deflect and make it personal. Poor Communication Example: 7 months into the project, Gio and his employees refused to answer basic questions like: What’s the status of the windows order? How have you spent the thousands of dollars I gave you for material (material audit)? When I did, they said they were busy and my questions were distracting them. I have records of all these emails.

Poor Quality Examples:

1. Poor drywall and paint: He claimed to paint the first floor but there are stains everywhere and the drywall work they did is so bad you can see the ceiling lines of tape. Look at the drywall pictures. Another contractor who came to help me said this is the worst drywall and taping job he’s seen in his life.

2. Bath 1 – He purposely tried to trick me in believing the bathrooms were done, but upon further review I found he installed the tub with a drain. Now I have to hire a plumber to redo the entire thing. Look at the picture.

3. Bath 1- he installed the toilet too close to the wall so it doesn’t fit. He then went on to blame the “house” for that. Meanwhile Gio redid the entire bathroom so he should’ve known the toilet drain needs to be 18 inches from the wall.

4. Bath 1 – He installed a hot and cold water pipe for the sink but the cold water isn’t connected to anything. He hid the open pipe in the wall so I couldn’t see it.

5. Carpets – He installed brand new carpets when drywall wasn’t done. Look at the pictures. He ruined the new carpets.

6. Bath 2 – he installed a cheap tiny vanity and mirror. He hid the light box behind the vanity – open blue box with open exposed wires (not even covered)

7. bath 2- He cut a plumbing pipe and hid the opening of that pipe in the wall

8. He took more than $1K for landscaping and put 15-20 bags of mulch outside (each bag cost $2-3)

9. He took $8K for windows and didn’t deliver them. He made up so many stories about ordering windows since January and at the end claimed I told him to cancel the order. I have voice recordings which will be used in my lawsuit.

10. He took $3,200 for bay windows and didn’t deliver them.

11. He failed to deliver one complete aspect of my house and took $60k of my money.

There are so many other items but I think you get the point. If you want to work with a liar, a fraud, a cheat who takes honest people’s hard earned money, that’s Gio. I would recommend you walk away. Last, but not least, Gio broke into my house yesterday and stole my materials. I caught him right in time and called the police. I’m pressing charges. Yes. I’m suing him and have filed a complaint against his company with all the agencies.
