Decided to take a chance on SST due to their appearingly impeccable sales ads on te HotRod online rags. I had nothing but problems and miscommunications with these guys and was promised a transmission on a certain date then told its being pushed back with some lame excuse.
They rushed me the transmission and now it wont shift right with only 750 miles on it. I was told this company Silver Sport Transmissions Rockford Tennessee were the innovators of the Perfect fit Transmission kit only to find out they bought the rights also the exclusive machinery aswell as inventory from another company named Keisler and that half of the SST employees are old Keisler employees too.
These guys lie to you and lead you on. I paid $4300.00 for this transmission kit and the clutch they matched me up with cant even handle 500ft lbs of torque yet the transmission is supposed to handle 600ftlbs of torque.
I purchased an aftermarket short throw shifter and wasnt even given the original shifter that came with the transmission and part pof a full transmission kit is including the clutch fluid master and they did not plus it also came missing one clutch eccentric slave shim.
Beware doing business with Silver Sport Transmissions Rockford Tennessee as they dont care about you after they get your money……….. I have all the emails as proof and intend to use snip and sketch to cut and display those emails as proof as to my claims against Silver Sport Transmissions Rockford Tennessee.
