Select Home Warranty is a scam and a fraud home warranty company. I was sold a three (3) year policy guaranteeing through the salesman that if an appliance could not be repaired it would be replaced despite the age of the appliance. I filed my first claim March 2021 it is now latter part of July 2021. I paid a technician to diagnose my inoperable washer and dryer. After that, there was no further communication from the service company to SHW or to me. I have asked for a refund on my policy but they offered to cancel which, of course, I refused!. I was told that they would start fresh and file a new claim. Of course, I refused that option!
I’m beginning to think that SHW is a “shadow” company working with a calling service called Koala Customer Service based out of Florida and New Jersey but calling from the Philippines. I am proceeding to report both companies to several agencies.
