The Staffing agent whose name is Ashley Ruiz became upset with me about me telling her that I was going to speak with the President of Adecco after she failed to be honest with my paycheck difference. I noticed it was short a day after I had initially checked it and decided to ask her about why that was. My total earnings for this week said $527 the day before.
When I went to check it that day it said $327 a huge difference in numbers so this raised a red flag for me. I had only been working there for a few weeks and didn't expect to have these type of issues because I trusted them. As I was asking her about what happened she replied by telling me a bunch of fictional things such as I needed to contact customer service because Adecco doesn't manage the app when it clearly says adecco does.
When you contact customer service an agent from Adecco does answer the phone. She retaliated after I said to her that I didn't have time for the run around she was giving me, as this wasn't going to fix my paycheck issue. And if I needed to get to the bottom of the problem, then I would contact the President of Adecco. At this time she became furious with me and said you are going home.
I quickly replied no I am not that I just wanted to finish my work there before I went home. She insisted on her having her way and called security to escort me out of the building. I didn't refuse security instead let them escort me out against my will. She screamed at me saying give me your badge because it was Adecco's property. I said no because she hadn't said she was firing me. ( or was she?).
At that time I was brought outside and the security officers talked to me and ended up taking my badge. I called the next day and spoke with Francesca who works the day shift, because I was still wanting to work there regardless of the bullying and herassment I was receiving. From not only Ashley, but also the other workers there.
I have always been an honest worker and take pride in my job, so I don't expect to have any issues there, as I always treat others as I would want them to treat me. I have called the desk at Adecco asking if they have assignments and Francesca always answers the phone saying no they don't then she chuckles. In which I have called several different numbers, and at this point It's become pretty clear to me that she doesn't operate via company policy because it clearly states that retaliation is against the law and won't be tolerated at Adecco on my initial work contract.
I don't feel like it's fair to treat me this way, by completely stepping all over my rights as an employee, cause me to miss work salaries, and get behind on my bills. I call to clear this up but am forced to file paperwork through other alternatives in order to have this situation handled. I also noticed every week there are lists of people whose paychecks are wrong and they constantly hire new people weekly. I still haven't cleared up my paycheck issues at this moment and it's been roughly a month. I would like to get some resolve to this issue.
