“Peter” Use Steam and/or Google Play Cards to convert to cash Toronto Ontario

This person is definitely in Toronto although he lied to make me believe he is not. He goes by the name “Peter” but that name probably changes quite often. And he is not working alone. He is part of organized crime. That is based on a slip he made when he asked me if I would like to meet this “boss.” This low-life preys on seniors by ripping them off of their savings and retirement money. He worms his way in by gaining your confidence, maybe or befriending you.

He starts by learning how much money you have, then goes to work. He will have a victim buy hundreds if not thousands of dollars of either Steam or Google Play cards. He will have the victim reveal the alpha-numeric sequence on the back of the cards and tell him. He then goes to a 7-11 or similar business, cashes them in and walks off with cash in his pocket. He made the mistake once of revealing himself so if you ever see him, which probably will not happen, he is in his mid-30s, stocky, Caucasian, probably about 5″7″. He leaves no traces. He spoofs his telephone number, email and ISP address. He also holds a degree in computer science which makes him doubly dangerous.
