Southern Outlaw Repairs Failed to repair iPad, damaged iPad worse, and then insinuated he would sue me for my factual review on his facebook business page. West Jefferson North Carolina

I took my daughter’s iPad to Southern Outlaw Repairs January 13th to have a busted screen replaced. I asked him if he guarantees his work and he said he does so I initially felt comfortable taking it there for repair.

Upon picking the iPad up, everything appeared to work properly. However, I noticed that the home button became stuck under the screen after being pressed and it wouldn’t come back up. I messaged him about it and he said that it was a feature Apple used to disable the home button so people would take the iPad to Apple for repair/replacement. There is no validity to this. Do not buy into this lie. He said he’d take another look at it.

He ended up replacing the screen and the home button once more, but this time the new home button didn’t support Touch ID. A minor inconvenience but not a huge issue. The real problem was that the new home button didn’t work, nor did the power button. The only way to get the screen to light up was to press and hold the power button and then swipe cancel when it asked if I wanted to power the iPad off. Also, the touch screen only worked sporadically.

I messaged southern outlaw repairs right away about the issue and I was given the same response about it being a feature Apple implemented. Again, THIS IS A LIE.

He agreed to look at the iPad once more but at this point I just wanted a refund. I couldn’t use the iPad so I was out the money I paid him to repair it and unable to make a claim with insurance because southern outlaw repairs is NOT authorized to work on Apple products.

Took the iPad once AGAIN and he said he could reset it. I can do that myself. That isn’t the issue and that didn’t resolve the issue. He also put a passcode on the iPad so initially it couldn’t be unlocked when taken to Apple Juice to have them look at it.

Do NOT trust Southern Outlaw Repairs. It has been a nightmare, time consuming, and a huge waste of money. He will lie to avoid repairing things he damaged. Would have been better off just using the iPad with a cracked screen. At least then it was still functional.

After posting the above review to the Southern Outlaw Repairs facebook business page the owner publicly replied multiple times lying about what actually occurred (the comments from the owner are conflicting enough that one can detect the lies by reading the thread, as he backtracked multiple times during the facebook exchange) and then insinuated he could sue me for my factual review.

I was rear ended at a red l light in January 2017. It took 3 years and SEVERAL attorneys (which I was never updated/ informed when I was assigned to new attorney… due to HIGH turn around) No one (lawyers) ever knew info to my very simple case. I requested my file from Bergquist. Which has si much information filled out incorrectly.

WHY HIRE A LAWYER WHEN THEY ARE NOT COMPETENT ENOUGH TO FILL OUT THE PAPER WORK THEY ARE HIRED TO FILL OUT?!… Claims were filed incorrectly. David's response… "YOU" deal with it. I communicated with David Bergquist about ALL my GRIEVANCES. He doesn't care. Much less ACTUALLY take responsibility.

I was told over and over my grievances were of no importance or TRUE. Even after providing him with supporting documentation. He SIMPLY discarded me. In hindsight… on top of all the distress I had dealing with Bergquist, I was also a victim of sexism. I see SOME reviews that are positive (maybe "real" … because so many are clearly FAKE) and out of ALL THE LAWYERS & 3 FIRMS IM SURE SOME CASES HAVE TO HAVE BEEN HANDLED CORRECTLY AND EFFICIENTLY… BUT BERGQUIST PICKS AND CHOOSES, IN THEIR BEST INTEREST, AS THE CASE TRANSPIRES.

I am a single Mexican Mother trying to WORK and raise my child. They saw me alone and they Discriminated against me. They always spoke down to me as if I was ignorant, also. Which I addressed with Bergquist and he didn't Even acknowledge. I went in yesterday to pick up the portion of my settlement that I did not agree with.

They will not give you YOUR money unless you sign the "dispersal" stating you are in agreement with "EVERYTHING" (which is the reason I did not sign it several months ago) I CLEARLY STATED… I AM HERE FOR MY CHECKS, I DON'T AGREE WITH THIS DISPERSAL, BUT THERE IS NO OTHER WAY THE GET MY MONEY… THAT THEY DIDN'T ROB ME OF.

Goodwill (lawyer I dealt with yesterday) stated got signed a contract with percentages at beginning. I responded … YES the contract I signed before "services" were rendered (LACK THERE OF)… so they act as if it's "black and white" by IGNORING all my complaints/ grievances. Completely discarding ME & MY VERY REAL COMPLAINTS of how Bergquist DID NOT DO RIGHT BY ME OR MY CASE.

I was a petty little nothing woman that allowed them (trusted in their words) to take FULL ADVANTAGE of me, only because if my ignorance at the time. I stated to David Bergquist… Bergquist law firm Counts on making money off of the ignorance of their clients. I just happened to fall into that category…. of non importance for Bergquist. I could go on and on… it's been 3 years of Hell with Bergquist law firm

Solartyme by AAPCO Ripped Off, Defective proper and desecptive Business Practices Richmond VA

I am a disabled veteran of the (United States Marine Corps) who answered an ad looking to save money on my monthly expenses. A very slick/dishonest salesperson showed up and promised very significant savings. He explained it as a no brainer. His no brainer has turned into worse ordeal I have ever endured in all of my life.  

Common sense will tell you that anyone who takes on a $35,000 debt load only to save $0.00 would be insane. Obviously promises and guarantees of significant savings were made on behalf of SolarTyme.

My average power bill before embarking upon the services of SolarTyme, was approximately $220 per month. After the insulation of the solar panels, my bill is exactly the same if not more. Not only am I paying exactly the same amount of money per month, I now have the burden of paying for the Solar panels which are an additional $500 per month.

SolarTyme made a lot of promises which I deem to be deceptive business practices. Every follow-up phone call and interrogative have been met with extreme disdain. They take no ownership or accountability that I have received no savings. My only explanation or best guess is that: The solar systems being sold are defective, or the company SolarTyme is willfully negligent thus overselling and overpromising the performance of their product.

Brooks Plumbing and Heating LLC – Licensed Master Plumber: 36BI01256800 Adam Total Rip Off & Overcharge Bloomfield NJ

I found Adam from Brooks Plumbing doing an online search on Google. The online reviews looked good so I decided to call him. He showed up on time, and proceeded to inspect my gas boiler.

He performed the following work:

1. Replaced a roll out switch for $220.11

2. Back Flow Prevention Valve for $291.95

3. Replace pop safety valve for $271.99

4. Replace Temperature gauge for $260.93

5. Replace expansion tank for $309.91

Since I am a disabled Veteran, he installed the back flow prevention valve for free. I paid in total $1,059.94. The actual work took less than two hours.

In the meantime, my boiler continued to cycle on and off.

I called Adam again, and we purged the air from the system, but the cycling continued.

A few days ago, I called Adam to see if we can fix the sensor that is causing the boiler to cycle on and off. He wanted to charge $200, beyond the $1,000 he already received.

In the meantime, I spoke with other plumbers, and I told that Adam seriously overcharged for the work he performed.

     My wife and I attended a real estate seminar in Palm Springs, California at the Riviera Gardens advertising Tarek and Christina El Moussa. During this training the Success Path sales staff touted the Tax Lien Buyer's Club as a money back guarantee of investment. We paid in so that we could access the information the "Club" had to offer.

     We then proceeded to learn as much as we could about what they had to say in order to invest in a tax lien through our IRA's. The problem we were not educated on is that in the event someone coming in behind us did not pay off our lien, we would have to have enough money in that particular IRA that purchased the lien to payoff everyone in front of us! All "Jerod Ramirez" could tell us is "Don't worry, we won't let you fail!"

     Fast forward one year after buying the lien, and here we are without enough money in that IRA to purchase the tax deed certificate (which would have been the next step) to then purchase the property and list it with an agent to sell at hopefully a profit. Wouldn't it be considered, in hindsight, prudent to make sure that there was enough money in the account, (we had a couple to choose from at the time and he knew that)? We were the newbies, he was the experienced one.

     All in all, we then called several times without he or his supervisor Beverly returning the call. My husband did a substantial amount of research on this property which has now had permits pulled for grading, demolishing the housing structure which was on site at the time of purchase, to find out who was sinking money into this property?

     It is quite obvious someone, somewhere is going to make money on this property but they have worked a way around paying the taxes. The address of this property is 1226 W. Kaley Ave., Orlando, Florida 32805 Besides us buying in on the 2010 tax lien, there are 7 other tax lien certificate holders awaiting similar fates and additional tax lien certificates for 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. Robert Kim bitcoin-fund-manager.com, bitcoinsignals.org Robert Kim Serial Crypto Trading Scammer Strikes Again

Robert Kim, the YouTube crypto trading “expert” and owner of bitcoin-fund-manager.com, just scammed me out of my life savings!  He is an expert con artist, orchestrating his scam in a serial manner, incorporating fake trading platforms, confidence game, payment ransom, fake banks, and laundering of $13 million USD cash sourced from Colombia. 

Please suspend all judgment about how I got suckered into this for now and read on.  It is essential that he is banned from all social media and web sites operations on the internet and prevented from stealing more money from investors. 

Kim is an American born citizen, currently based in Seoul, Korea.  He has been accused of serial cons in the US until around 2010, and then started the con game again in South Korea (details are provided by another victim/concerned citizen at www.robertkim-scam-korean,american-conman.blogspot.com).  Around 2017, Kim started up www.bitcoin-fund-manager.com which offers free and paid subscription daily technical analysis updates as well as managed trading through API. 

He often warns viewers on his YouTube videos to not give anyone bitcoin to invest and be careful of imposters making personal contacts through social media.  However, he is the “imposter” and I have video proof! Kim “manages” crypto trades through his fake trading platform, Gluxtrade.com.  He shows enticing profits before demanding a 15% pay in advance profit. 

He then shows huge profits, but they are never accessible, using blockchain wallet non-spendable funds with no private key.  Kim then creates a fake shipping company (www.121courier.site) to send a shipping manifest showing that the profits are being sent in US dollars.  Similar to the puppy shipping scam, the shippers have many problems and continue to demand more money to get the shipment past customs. 

Once he has drained the investor of money on each phase of the scam, he goes to a new one.  He uses fake banking apps (www.standerdquity.com, onlinecrownbank.com) to show the huge profit in an account but then requires VAT fees to transfer the funds.  When he has finally exhausted all of the investor’s funds and patience, he celebrates his victory by texting f-you gifs while claiming that the investor is naïve!   

 

First American Home Warranty Is A Total Rip Off !! Be Warned ! DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY !! Santa Rosa California

This is factually correct and very honest review. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM FIRST AMERICAN HOME WARRANTY !!!! PLEASE DO NOT! I wish I could give them no stars. I was very hesitant of buying a home warranty years ago. My friends told me not to. But I just bought this house in 2015 and said, lets take a shot.

Been paying premiums for at least 16 months !!!! Then just last week my fridge stopped cooling and compressor would not kick on. I called FAHW and they sent somebody out within two days. I was very pleased at that point !! Contractor's tech guy came that day and looked at fridge on 1/21, he determined that something like the thermostat or defroster was bad, I cant remember.

I asked him if the part should be under the warranty program and he said that he does this a lot with warranty companies and it would be. Was happy !!! He said he was gonna order the part. A week went by and no call from anyone, not a peep from ANYONE from this company!!!! I finally called FAHW on 1/29/20 and asked for the status.

They said the claim was denied on 1/22, all along I was thinking things were getting taken care of. They said that the pictures that the tech sent them showed some rodent droppings and a "nest", and the tech submitted the report stating that there was a nest in the coils and that caused the damage. Ok, have to admit there were a few droppings on the floor I noticed when we pulled out the fridge and some dog hair on the floor, but a "nest"??, an INFESTATION FAHW said?? And they are saying a nest was in the coils !!! NO there was no such thing !!

I watched the tech take off the back of the fridge and there was NO NEST of anything inside. It was actually pretty clean. What they are looking at was DUST, just DUST on the coils. I asked to speak with a supervisor, after 20 min on hold I just hung up. Next day I attempted again to talk to supervisor and after another 20 min hold I finally was able to talk to one.

I told him my story and that things didn't add up with what FAHW is saying and the Tech said when he was at my house. The tech never said anything about the fridge being damaged by rodents to me. He said it was from a bad part and that's why the compressor wont click on. In fact, when I talked to the supervisor I asked him if he put anything about a nest or anything on the report, he said "no, not exactly".

So I then called the contractor and the manager said that the tech guy that came to my house quit a couple days after he was at my house and she has no copy of the report because the tech submitted it electronically to FAHW and she doesnt have any photos because he took them from his personal phone.

She really didnt know what was going on at that point and dont blame her. Anyway, the supervisor said mistakes happen and he will do whatever it takes to help me and he would be taking over my claim personally and would call me tomorrow. He also wanted me to take photos of the inside of fridge and send them to him, which i did same day.

No Call from him the next day! Huh… I then called the next business day later and talked to a customer service rep and she told me my claim was bumped up to his supervisor. After a few days of calling his supervisor finally called me back and said that she will review everything and give me a decision about my claim. Which she did…. Here is what she wrote to me…..

***I have reviewed the photos and spoke with the contractor. Please note, based on my review your unit is fairly new (2-4 years) which means the failure of this magnitude could not have been caused by normal wear and tear. The contractor reiterated that there was a nest inside your unit that clogged the coil and caused the failures to the unit. The contractor father submitted photos of the units showing the droppings of pests and the clogged coil. Based on the review of all documents I will sustain the decision on the claim. Please be advised, First American only provides coverage for items failing due to normal wear and tear**

1. The contractor could not have reiterated that there was a nest in the fridge because she doesn't have the report and was never there!!!! And the Tech quit a couple days later after seeing me at the house and the contractor has no reference on this claim. So FAHW is lying !! Unreal !!

2. The coil was not clogged with a nest, IT WAS DUST !!!!!!!! Anyone from FAHW can pull out their own fridge right now and they will see DUST ! C'mon ! Thats wear and tear.

All I can say is that this company is doing its best not to pay a claim. They will look at everything and all photos and they will try to find ANY way not to pay a claim. I believe they are totally lying, or just completely incompetent. Either way I do not trust this company and neither should you. I have asked them for the photos and report and not gotten them yet and dont expect I ever will. Also, the customer service is terrible, you will be on hold a long time and god forbid you have to take your claim to the next level !!!!

The fridge is just under 4 years old and cost me $3,000. Not a cheap fridge. Long story short, this is a very bad company. They lie and took me for a ride !!!! I have paid this worthless company around $1,000 + in premiums and got NOTHING from it. I dont have any experience with other home warranty company's but please do not even call these people !!!! TRUST ME !!!! DON'T!!!!!!!!!

I will be cancelling my warranty soon. Seriously, what a shame !! I am going to voice my opinion on other review sites, nobody needs to get taken like this !!!!!!! Please remember, there are probably some good honest reviews about companies but always keep this in mind, big companies pay firms to write fake good reviews about their products and services.

The bad reviews are almost always honest and factual reviews. Just saying. Yes, I am bitter because I am right and they are totally wrong. I will cancel my "so called" service with them in a couple days, I have already called an experienced appliance repair guy to fix my fridge cause my wife is driving me nuts about the fridge and living in coolers. I will be ok, but right now what makes me happy is submitting this same review to a mass amount of websites to get the word out.

I can afford the repair bill, but if this happens to some others they may cant and thats why they buy these warranties, These guys need to be brought down and fast! Seriously, please DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY, please trust me, they are a total rip off and thats where i'm going next, the Ripoff Report.com !!!! Be warned and stay away. PLEASE !!!!!!! Thanks for listening…. again, this is an HONEST review and I hope people listen, this is just my opinion with MY experience with them.

Desert Esate Liquidators Missy Taylor, Mellissa Taylor Missy refusses to pay due to her interprtation of default of contract as well as out-right theift of my fathers estate Showlow Arizona

Hiring Missy taylor at desert estate liquidators was perhaps the worst mistake of my life.  Not only do I grieve the loss of my father but for his estate and our families inheritance.  I do not believe she accurately accounted for the sale proceeds.  She disputes this but has refused to provide requested information, documentation, or information needed to verify the correctness of the monies she collected.  She also charged more than the agreed fee and claims a additional "default fee"  because  I was present during part of the sale.  The contract does not provide for this additional fee.

She does not want the clients or their family  to be present during the sale.  (You should seriously wonder why so does not want clients present, and whether it is to make sure no one really knows what is going on.)  We witnessed her  her removing items during the sale for "safe keeping."  The items were "returned" after we questioned her — at least the ones were had knowledge of being removed.  We do not feel she did a good job promoting the sale or giving special notice to persons who may be interested in some of the more unique items such as motor vehicle parts for restoration of classic cars.  

I could go on and on but the bottom line,  i hope you do your homework before hiring missy as dealing w her has left me with endless sleepless nights of regret.
