I am a tenant who is renting through this company. The owner of the unit I am renting contacted me to let me know that he hasn’t received the rent I have been paying through CANADIAN DOMINION HOMES INC for the last 9 months. The company disappeared. Their website is no longer working and no one answers at any of the numbers listed under Canadian Dominion Homes. The agent that I had was ELI LEVINSON. The rudest man that you can ever meet. In our several conversations that we had. He always threatened me, screamed at me and wanted me to sign documents without knowing what they were about. I gave them 60 days writing notice saying I wanted to leave by the end of my lease. I told them I wanted to use my rental deposit for the last month. But yet they tried to get the money from my bank account. For the people that are going through the same situation I recommend that you call your bank and put a stop payment. Because otherwise they will continue trying to withdraw the founds. I am sure there are many others who have fallen victim.
